This comprehensive and hands-on training course on Mobile Elevating Work Platforms (MEWP) covers both operator and supervisor roles and responsibilities. Participants will receive instruction on safely operating and inspecting equipment, including 3A/3B platforms and powered industrial trucks, in compliance with ANSI and OSHA standards. The course emphasizes hazard identification, equipment selection for specific tasks, and understanding safety protocols for elevated work. Students will also gain familiarity with manufacturer manuals and learn about rescue options in the event of emergencies. Key safety standards from ANSI A92.22 and the importance of proper training, familiarization, and supervision on job sites will be highlighted, ensuring participants are fully qualified to work with MEWPs in various production environments.
